CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT POLICY – FOR APPOINTMENT BOOKED ONLINE OR OFFLINE
| General Service Policy: |
All consultations will be supervised by a licensed consultant, and it is your obligation to properly identify yourself by providing us with valid ID documentation on or in advance of the consultation. Consultation is subject to consultant/client privilege and is confidential, but only if you officially retain the firm during or after the consultation, do you become a client of the firm. Consultations may last generally up to 30 minutes, but can fall short or exceed that time depending on the matter. Consultations can take place in-person, over the phone, or through Zoom. Consultations are meant to provide general immigration guidance for your matter and not legal services. Legal services are provided through official engagement of the firm. A 48-hour notice is required to cancel or change your appointment. Please call us directly or email us to cancel.
|
| Reservation Policy: |
Consultations must be reserved via our online reservation system. In some cases, we may be able to book you offline. However, the same policy will apply to all bookings.
|
| Cancellation Policy: |
Cancellation requested less than 48 hours before the actual appointment time will result in forfeiture of the entire fee paid. You will have to pay new fees if you wish to have another appointment. A no-show on the scheduled time is considered a cancellation unless a 48-hour notice is provided 48 hours before the scheduled time, and will result in forfeiture of the entire fee.
|
| Payment Policy: |
Payments must be made before the appointment. A portion of the consultation fee may be credited toward a full retainer at the discretion of the company.
