Citizenship by Investment Cost Calculator for Your Family
Add your spouse, children and parents with their ages, and see what each of the seven citizenship by investment programmes would cost your family, lowest first. Every estimate shows the contribution, due diligence, processing and government fees line by line.
Switch between the contribution route and the real estate route, then email the breakdown to yourself so you can read it again and share it.
Key Takeaways
- Family size changes the price. Some programmes include four people in one price, and others charge per person from the first dependant.
- Ages decide who can join. Each programme sets its own age limits for children and parents, and the estimate tells you who it left out.
- The cheapest for one person is not always the cheapest for a family. Check your own family, not the headline price.
- This is an estimate, not a quote. It covers government fees and the minimum property price, not taxes, agent or legal fees.
- Two prices can change soon. The Nauru offer price ends on 31 December 2026, and every programme can change its fees.
What would citizenship by investment cost my family?
Add everyone who would join your application, choose your route, then read the estimates from lowest to highest. The first person is you, the main applicant.
How does the cost calculator work?
You describe your family, and the calculator applies each programme’s published fee schedule and family rules to those ages. It adds the contribution or government fee, due diligence, processing and certificate fees, and the minimum property price on the real estate route. It also tells you who a programme leaves out.
- Add your spouse, children and parents, and set each person’s age.
- Choose the contribution route or the real estate route.
- Read the estimates, lowest first, and open the breakdown on any programme.
- Email the full comparison to yourself.
- Use Find my program to shortlist by your goal, or read the side-by-side comparison.
What does the estimate include, and what does it leave out?
It covers the government fees on either route, plus the minimum property price on the real estate route. It does not cover property purchase costs or the costs outside the government.
Included in the estimate
- The main contribution. The government fund payment for the family you describe, or the government fee on the real estate route.
- The minimum property price. On the real estate route, shown apart from the fees because you own the property and can sell it after the hold period.
- Due diligence. The government checks on every adult and older child.
- Government processing and certificate fees. Charged per person, as each programme sets them.
- Interviews and passports. Where the programme lists them as a cost.
Not included
- Property purchase costs. Taxes, stamp duty, legal and insurance costs come on top of the property price.
- Resale value. The property can rise or fall in value, and a sale is not guaranteed.
- Agent, legal and translation fees. They depend on who files for you.
- Flights, medicals and courier costs. They depend on where you live.
- Changes after October 2026. Governments can change fees without notice.

Frequently asked questions
How much does citizenship by investment cost for a family?
For a spouse and two children, the estimates run from about US$115,700 at Nauru to about US$267,500 at St Kitts and Nevis for the main contribution route, with Turkey from US$400,000. Your own total depends on the ages in your family. Use the calculator above for your exact family.
Why does the price change when I add a child?
Each programme includes a set number of people in its main price and charges more for the rest. Government due diligence, processing and certificate fees also apply per person, and some start only at age 16 or 18. The breakdown under each programme shows every line.
Does the estimate include real estate?
Yes, when you switch to the real estate route. Each total then shows the government fees, which you spend, plus the minimum property price, which you own and can sell after the hold period. Taxes, legal fees and other purchase costs are not included, and resale value is not guaranteed.
What is the difference between the contribution route and the real estate route?
The contribution route is a payment to a government fund that you do not get back. The real estate route is a smaller government fee plus a property purchase that you keep and can sell after a hold period of about 3 to 7 years. The property route needs more cash up front but returns part of it if you sell.
Why did a programme leave out one of my family members?
Each programme sets age and relationship limits, for example children under a certain age or parents over a certain age. The estimate lists who it left out and why. Limits can change, so we confirm who can join before you file.
Is the Nauru price valid after 31 December 2026?
The offer price of about US$90,000 applies to applications filed before 31 December 2026. After that date the calculator switches to the standard price of US$115,000. Check the Nauru page for the current position before you decide.
How accurate is the calculator?
It uses the published fee schedules we checked in October 2026, and it marks any programme where the fee schedule is partial. It is an estimate, not a quote, and governments can change fees without notice. We confirm the current figures in writing before you pay anything.
What happens when I email myself the estimate?
We email you the full breakdown for your family, and the team receives a copy so we can answer questions about it. You can opt out at any time. Nothing is filed or paid by using the calculator.
