Open the Door to American Business With Grenada Citizenship by Investment
You want a second passport that opens real business doors, including in the United States. Grenada citizens may qualify for the US E-2 investor visa under a 1989 treaty, and one national fund contribution covers a family of up to four. AIA prepares your file, checks your documents and guides it through government due diligence.
since 1991
You want to grow beyond your home market, but your passport holds you back
For many passports, doors to the US market stay closed or slow. Visa limits make it hard to build a business, visit clients or place your children in American schools.
Grenada keeps one of those doors open. Its citizens may apply for the E-2 investor visa, which needs a real investment in a US business and a US decision on each case.
How it feels to be capped
You feel capped when your ambition is bigger than your passport. You worry about watching opportunities go to people with better documents.
What Grenada gives you
- US E-2 eligibility, so you can pursue an investor visa and build a US business, subject to a US decision
- Family pricing, so one contribution covers the main applicant and up to three dependants
- Two routes, so you choose a national fund contribution or approved real estate
- Visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to well over 140 destinations, so you travel to clients with confidence
- No prior residency, so you keep your business and schools where they are
- Dual citizenship, so you add a passport instead of swapping one
You do not have to work this out alone
We know it is frustrating to hit a wall that has nothing to do with your talent. You want a clear picture of what Grenada does and does not give you.

What we believe
- Honesty first: we tell you when a program does not fit, before you pay

- Your plan, not a template: the right program depends on your goals and passport
We believe an E-2 pathway should be explained honestly, with the risks and the US decision stated up front, and not sold as a guarantee.
Is Grenada citizenship by investment right for you?
An honest answer before you commit funds.
A good fit if you have
- Funds you can trace to a legal source and document fully
- A clean criminal record for every adult applicant
- A budget from about US$235,000, plus due diligence and processing fees
- An interest in US business opportunities through the E-2 visa
- Willingness to attend an interview as an adult applicant
Consider another route if
- You expect the E-2 visa to be automatic, since the US decides each case
- You cannot make a real investment in a US business
- You cannot document where your money came from
- You want the lowest possible entry cost, since other programs start lower

Grenada citizenship by investment requirements
Grenada checks you and your family in depth. Here is what it looks at.
Due diligence
Every adult applicant passes background checks, police certificates and screening against international databases. Adult applicants also attend an interview.
Source of funds
You document where your money came from with bank records, tax filings, business accounts or sale contracts, and show you can fund the investment and fees.
Health and identity
Each applicant needs certified identity documents and a medical exam. Fingerprints or other biometrics may also be required.
Family
The base contribution covers the main applicant and up to three dependants. Further dependants and eligible relatives can be added for extra contributions, with age limits.
Nationality rules
The program keeps its own list of restricted nationalities. We check your passport against it before you pay anything.

Grenada citizenship by investment options
National Transformation Fund
A non-refundable contribution from about US$235,000 covers the main applicant and up to three dependants, so one payment protects your family. It is the simplest route.
Approved real estate
Invest from about US$270,000 in an approved project and hold it for at least five years, so you keep an asset. Sole ownership has a higher threshold.
The US E-2 pathway
A 1989 treaty lets Grenada citizens apply for the E-2 investor visa. It needs a real US business investment, and the US decides each case. We explain the trade-offs.

You receive your citizenship certificate and passport, and your family gains new options for travel and security.
What it costs, and what waiting costs
Grenada costs more than the entry-level programs, and we show every line up front. Set it against what a closed door to the US market costs your business each year.
Two possible futures
A year from now, you may still be watching US opportunities pass by, limited by the passport you hold. Rules and fees across the Caribbean are changing as you wait.
Or your family holds a Grenada passport, your file is clean and the E-2 route is open to you. You feel ambitious again, and you act on it with the facts.
The cost of staying put
A regional regulator, ECCIRA, is standardizing the Caribbean programs, and fees and visit rules are shifting. Applying under current terms helps you avoid changes that add cost or steps.
Your ultimate success
- Relieved: your family has a plan B
- Confident: you travel and do business without visa fear
- Protected: your children inherit more options
- In control: you decided on your terms, with the facts

Grenada citizenship by investment FAQs
Is Grenada citizenship by investment worth the cost?
Grenada costs more than the entry-level programs, from about US$235,000. In return, its citizens may apply for the US E-2 investor visa, which most Caribbean passports cannot match. If US business access matters to you, that difference is the point.
Can a Grenada passport lead to a US E-2 visa?
Grenada citizens may apply for the E-2 investor visa under a 1989 treaty with the US. The visa needs a real investment in a US business, and the US decides each case. We explain the requirements and risks in your consultation.
How much does Grenada citizenship by investment cost?
The National Transformation Fund contribution starts from about US$235,000 and covers the main applicant and up to three dependants. Extra dependants add a contribution each, and application and due diligence fees come on top.
How long does it take?
Most files take roughly 3 to 6 months from a complete application, depending on due diligence and the interview. Your own time is about 30 minutes to start and a few weeks to gather documents, and we handle the filing and follow-up.
Will my application be approved?
Approval depends on your record, source of funds and nationality, and nobody can guarantee it. We pre-screen every file before you pay, which removes most avoidable refusals. AIA has guided 25,000+ families since 1991.
Is there an interview?
Yes, adult applicants attend an interview as part of the program. We prepare you for the questions and help you plan the timing.
Do I need to live in Grenada first?
No. You do not need prior residency to apply. The Caribbean programs are moving toward short in-person visit requirements, so we confirm the current rule before you file.
Can my family be included?
Yes. The base contribution covers the main applicant and up to three dependants, and further dependants and eligible relatives can be added for extra contributions. We confirm who qualifies before you file.
Which nationalities can apply for Grenada citizenship?
Most nationalities can apply, but the program keeps its own list of restricted nationalities and runs its own checks. Your home country’s dual citizenship rules also matter. We confirm both before you pay anything.
Is the process confidential?
Applications are handled privately, but governments can share information under international rules. A second passport also does not change where you owe tax. We explain both points in your consultation.
