Choose How Your Capital Works for You With St Lucia Citizenship by Investment
You want a second passport on terms that fit your capital. St Lucia offers three routes: a national fund contribution, approved real estate or government bonds that you hold, so you choose how your money is used. AIA prepares your file, checks your documents and guides it through government due diligence.
since 1991
You want a second passport, but you do not want to give your capital away
Most programs ask you to donate. If you prefer to keep most of your capital, that can feel like a trade-off between security and wealth.
St Lucia gives you a choice. A fund contribution from about US$240,000 is a donation, while real estate and government bonds from about US$300,000 let you hold an asset.
How it feels to hand over a large sum
You feel uneasy handing over a large sum with nothing to show for it. You worry about losing money to a rule you do not control.
What St Lucia gives you
- Three routes, so you choose a donation, real estate or bonds, and your capital works the way you want
- A bond option, so most of the investment is held and returned, and you keep more of your wealth
- Family pricing, so one contribution covers the main applicant and up to three dependants
- No prior residency, so you keep your job, business and schools where they are
- Visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to well over 140 destinations, so you travel with confidence
- Dual citizenship, so you add a passport instead of swapping one
You do not have to work this out alone
We know you think about capital carefully. You want someone who will set the three routes side by side and show you the real cost of each.

St Lucia citizenship by investment requirements
St Lucia checks you and your family in depth. Here is what it looks at.
Due diligence
Every adult applicant passes background checks, police certificates and screening against international databases. Applicants aged 16 and over also attend an interview.
Source of funds
You document where your money came from with bank records, tax filings, business accounts or sale contracts, and show you can fund the investment and fees.
Health and identity
Each applicant needs certified identity documents and a medical exam. Fingerprints or other biometrics may also be required.
Family
The base contribution covers the main applicant and up to three dependants. Further dependants can be added for extra contributions, with age limits.
Nationality rules
The program keeps its own list of restricted nationalities. We check your passport against it before you pay anything.

St Lucia citizenship by investment options
National Economic Fund
A non-refundable contribution from about US$240,000 covers the main applicant and up to three dependants, and it supports healthcare, energy, education and infrastructure.
Approved real estate
Invest from about US$300,000 in an approved development and hold it for at least five years, so you keep an asset you can sell later.
Government bonds
Buy government bonds from about US$300,000 and hold them for several years, plus a non-refundable fee, so most of the money comes back at maturity.

What it costs, and what waiting costs
St Lucia lets you choose how much of your capital you commit for good, and we show every line up front. Set the donation, real estate and bond routes side by side before you decide.
Two possible futures
A year from now, you may still be undecided because every program seems to ask you to give your capital away. Rules and fees across the Caribbean keep shifting as you wait.
Or your family holds a St Lucia passport on the route that fits your capital. You feel in control, and you kept more of your wealth working for you.
The cost of staying put
A regional regulator, ECCIRA, is standardizing the Caribbean programs, and fees and visit rules are shifting. Applying under current terms helps you avoid changes that add cost or steps.
Your ultimate success
- Relieved: your family has a plan B
- Confident: you travel and do business without visa fear
- Protected: your children inherit more options
- In control: you decided on your terms, with the facts

St Lucia citizenship by investment FAQs
Is St Lucia citizenship by investment worth the cost?
St Lucia lets you choose how much capital you commit for good. A fund contribution is a donation, while real estate and bonds from about US$300,000 let you hold an asset. Set the route you choose against what a second passport protects for your family.
What is the St Lucia government bond option?
You buy government bonds from about US$300,000, hold them for several years and pay a non-refundable fee. Most of the bond amount is returned at maturity, unlike a donation. It suits investors who want to keep more of their capital.
How much does St Lucia citizenship by investment cost?
The National Economic Fund contribution starts from about US$240,000 and covers the main applicant and up to three dependants. Extra dependants add a contribution each, and due diligence and processing fees come on top.
How long does it take?
Most files take roughly 3 to 6 months from a complete application, depending on due diligence and the interview. Your own time is about 30 minutes to start and a few weeks to gather documents, and we handle the filing and follow-up.
Will my application be approved?
Approval depends on your record, source of funds and nationality, and nobody can guarantee it. We pre-screen every file before you pay, which removes most avoidable refusals. AIA has guided 25,000+ families since 1991.
What is the St Lucia real estate option?
You invest from about US$300,000 in an approved development and hold it for at least five years before resale. It suits investors who want an asset. The contribution route has fewer moving parts.
Is there an interview?
Yes, applicants aged 16 and over attend an interview as part of the program. We prepare you for the questions and help you plan the timing.
Do I need to live in St Lucia first?
No. You do not need prior residency to apply. The Caribbean programs are moving toward short in-person visit requirements, so we confirm the current rule before you file.
Which nationalities can apply for St Lucia citizenship?
Most nationalities can apply, but the program keeps its own list of restricted nationalities and runs its own checks. Your home country’s dual citizenship rules also matter. We confirm both before you pay anything.
Is the process confidential?
Applications are handled privately, but governments can share information under international rules. A second passport also does not change where you owe tax. We explain both points in your consultation.
