What does the MPNP points calculator do?
The MPNP points calculator adds up your EOI ranking points on Manitoba’s official grid. It scores six factors: language, age, work experience, education, adaptability and risk.
The grid ranks candidates in the Skilled Worker Stream and the International Education Stream. The business investor pathways use a separate process.
Do I need a Manitoba connection?
Yes. Every candidate must have at least one type of connection to Manitoba. If you have more than one, Manitoba counts the one that scores highest.
What your score tells you
- Ranking: Manitoba invites the highest-scoring candidates in each draw
- Connection: there is no published minimum score, but you need at least one Manitoba connection
- Risk: work or study in another province costs 100 points each
- Express Entry: a Manitoba nomination adds 600 CRS points
