What does the FSW 67-point calculator do?
The calculator adds up your points on the official IRCC grid for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. It covers language, education, skilled work, age, arranged employment and adaptability, out of 100.
It is separate from your CRS score. A job offer has added no CRS points since March 25, 2025, but it still earns 10 points on the FSW grid.
Do I need 67 points?
Yes. You need at least 67 points on the grid to qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You must also meet the language, work experience and education minimums, and IRCC confirms every point from your documents.
What your score tells you
- Pass mark: 67 points out of 100 to qualify under the FSW
- Not your rank: your CRS score decides whether you get an invitation
- Gaps: the breakdown shows which factors cost you points
- Minimums: CLB 7 in every ability and 1 year of skilled work still apply

FSW 67-point calculator FAQs
What is the FSW 67-point grid?
It is the 100-point grid IRCC uses to decide if you qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. It scores six factors: language, education, work experience, age, arranged employment and adaptability.
How many points do I need for the FSW?
You need at least 67 points out of 100. You must also meet the minimums for language, work experience and education.
Does 67 points guarantee an invitation?
No. Reaching 67 only shows that you qualify for Express Entry through the FSW. Invitations go to the highest CRS scores in each draw.
How are language points calculated?
Each of your four first-language abilities earns 4 points at CLB 7, 5 at CLB 8 and 6 at CLB 9 or higher, for up to 24. A second official language at CLB 5 or higher in all four abilities adds 4 points.
How does age affect my FSW points?
Ages 18 to 35 earn the full 12 points. Each year after 35 costs one point, so age 36 earns 11 and age 46 earns 1. Age 47 or older earns none.
How many points do I get for work experience?
One year earns 9 points, 2 to 3 years earn 11, 4 to 5 years earn 13 and 6 or more years earn 15. The work must be skilled, which means TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3.
Do I get FSW points for a job offer?
Yes. A valid arranged employment offer earns 10 points, plus up to 5 more inside the adaptability factor. A job offer has added no CRS points since March 25, 2025.
What is the adaptability factor?
Adaptability gives up to 10 points in total. Past work in Canada earns 10, and study in Canada, your spouse or partner, arranged employment and a relative in Canada earn 5 each.
Are FSW points the same as CRS points?
No. FSW points decide if you qualify for the program, and CRS points rank you in the Express Entry pool. You can pass the 67-point grid and still wait for a CRS cut-off.
Is this FSW calculator official?
No. It is an estimate based on the official IRCC grid. IRCC confirms your points from the documents you submit.
