The PNP Express Entry draw on October 13, 2026 invited 752 provincial nominees at a cut-off of 772. That is draw 448 in the official rounds data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). It was the second-largest Provincial Nominee Program round of 2026, after the 955 invitations on June 22.

We took every figure from IRCC’s Express Entry rounds data on October 17, 2026, and matched it against our 2026 Express Entry draw tracker. For all three rounds from October 13 to 16 in one place, see our Express Entry draws October 2026 roundup. Point values come from IRCC’s Comprehensive Ranking System criteria page, modified October 16, 2026.

What happened in the PNP Express Entry draw October 13, 2026?

IRCC invited 752 candidates who hold a provincial or territorial nomination in draw 448 on October 13, 2026. The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score invited was 772. People at exactly 772 got in only if they entered the pool before the tie-breaking time, which IRCC lists as July 15, 2026 at 13:57:33.

  • Draw number: 448
  • Program: Provincial Nominee Program
  • Invitations: 752
  • CRS cut-off: 772
  • Tie-breaking rule: July 15, 2026 at 13:57:33

Why is the PNP cut-off so much higher than other rounds?

A provincial or territorial nomination is worth 600 CRS points, according to IRCC’s criteria page. So a cut-off of 772 means the lowest invited nominee had 172 points from everything else, such as age, education, language and work experience. Our math: 772 minus 600 equals 172.

That is why a PNP round can look out of reach when it is not. The hard part is getting the nomination. Once a nominee has those 600 points, the rest of their score matters far less than in a CEC or category round.

How does this PNP Express Entry draw compare with 2026 so far?

This round was the 20th provincial round of 2026. Together they have issued 10,022 invitations, about 7% of all Express Entry invitations this year. Cut-offs have ranged from 697 on August 31 to 805 on May 25. The average is about 754, so 772 sits a little above a typical round.

The rounds have been getting bigger. The last three invited 576 on September 14, 733 on September 28, and 752 on October 13. Only one round this year was larger: 955 on June 22.

IRCC held this round 15 days after the last one. Provincial rounds in 2026 have mostly come every two weeks. Our post on PNP draw cut-offs in 2026 covers the earlier rounds.

What does the pool data say about nominees?

IRCC counted 749 profiles with scores from 601 to 1,200 on October 12, 2026, the day before this round. The round then invited 752 people. IRCC does not say how many of those 749 profiles held a nomination. It also does not explain why the round invited slightly more people than that count.

One likely reason is timing. Nominees can join the pool or add a nomination after the count is taken. I cannot confirm that from IRCC’s data, so read the 749 figure as a snapshot, not an exact match.

How can you get a provincial nomination for Express Entry?

You need a province or territory to nominate you through one of its streams linked to Express Entry. Each province sets its own rules and runs its own draws. Some want a job offer in the province. Others pick from the federal pool by occupation or score. A nomination adds 600 points once it is in your profile.

  1. Keep your Express Entry profile active: many provincial streams search the federal pool.
  2. Match your job to provincial priorities: health care, trades and education come up often in 2026 provincial draws.
  3. Compare provinces: our guide to the best PNP option in 2026 without a job offer sets them side by side.

IRCC announced on October 16, 2026 that new CRS points for high-wage jobs start on November 3, and that rounds will pause for up to two weeks while it recalculates scores. IRCC does not publish a draw schedule, so I cannot confirm when the next PNP round will be.
